"oversubscribed 3 times" necessarily means that 3 times as many spots available have applied? I'm not quite sure what he meant by that.. Or is he implying that 3 times more than the anticipated number of people have applied?

i guess well all know on or after the 19th of march, when either well be celebrating or commiserating! i think 200-250 is a fair estimate for the number of applications. 1 in 6, or 1 in 10 should the minimum and outer limit of the application ratio

in the confirmation email i received it said that oxford will send a letter in writing, no online communication will take place. you should know that even for undergraduate degrees oxford sends letters out with their decisions well before ucas is updated. given that you are international student im not sure of the position, but mail is thier general practice.

I had emailed the course administrator for the MLF and was told that in the first instance, Oxford will email out an offer letter, followed by a letter in the post if required.

Was also told that decisions could be made earlier in the week (i.e. around 16 March). All the best if you've applied.

Cheers
Mack

Sorry, what confirmation email are you referring to? I don't think I got one.
