Hey, I can see that there is no similar thread. I have applied for the MLF and now I'm waiting for the results. If I am correct, last year decisions where communicated in the beginning of March which would be about now. Has anyone heard anything about a more concrete, plausible date for decisions? It's the last stage of the wait and it's kind of killing me. I've been trying to reach Ms Blanshard via phone recently but with no success.

I am in the same situation.
The clues that I have regarding decision dates are the following:
"Applications will be reviewed and the outcome of the application communicated to the applicant by the end of March 2013.
(...)
All applicants will find out the result of their application in late March. The outcome will either be an offer, a rejection or we will inform you that you are on the MLF waiting list."

Well, the question was kind of dumb...I see now that you were trying to contact them by the phone. Was that the way you learned when decisions will be communicated?

Received an offer by email yesterday (March 8 at 17.00)!
Needless to say I'm absolutely delighted! I genuinely didn't believe that I would get an offer as there were aspects of my CV/application that could have been better. So keep the faith people!
By the way, it may interest some of you to know that the cohort for 2013/14 will be in the region of 45 students (up from circa 30 in previous years).
Best of luck everyone!

Hi Guys!
I got in the MLF and they are asking me to resend my transcript.
Is this a normal procedure?

They asked me to send in an original transcript (strangely enough only from one of my two degrees) as well. But if you didn't forge your transcript (which I hope you didn't ;)), then it doesn't really matter, does it? The letter clearly states that they'll send it back to you on request, so you don't even have to get a separate copy.

waitlisted... looks like the waiting continues

I was also asked for a hard copy of my transcript so I don't think it's anything out of the ordinary.
Does anybody remember if we were asked for a first and second college preference on the application? I thought I put down two but when I look back at my application there's only one. Maybe I'm thinking of a different application...

I've also been wait-listed! The amount of wait-listed applicants seems rather high, so admission will most likely be unlikely I guess.

I'm certain that you had to state two preferences. It's strange that it doesn't show on the application though...
