hey guys...
i sent an e-mail to the Grad Admissions office this morning...and got a fairly prompt reply stating that the results have been dispatched by leter...secondly, that they were not in a position to reveal the results on e-mail, even though I had included some identification details in my mail...
my feeling..posibly the GRad office is now swamped with queries, so theyre no longer willing to accomodate us n refer us to the Law Faculty etc...
is it pos to mail the Law Fac directly? i believe its discouraged...
best of luck, everyone!
p.s. yeah, i am in India, so figures a leter wudnt have reached yet...

Hi guys,
Received my BCL offer this morning - I'm also a Londoner so that may have something to do with the speed. If you haven't heard yet, I'm sure you will very soon (at least if you're in the UK). And when you get it, don't be put off by the small letter size - I thought it was a rejection at first and spent some time cursing before actually opening it and finding an offer!
Good luck to everyone still waiting!

Hehe yeah - it was pretty funny - my brother's been applying for undergrad places and so I recently gave him some of my elder- brotherly wisdom by telling him that generally if it's a small letter it's probably a rejection. I think I'll qualify any advice from now on in order to reduce possible unwarranted cursing in the future!

Mine arrived to my (UK) correspondence address today, so I would expect international applicants to receive theirs in the next little while...

Hi,
I also got an offer letter today so am really delighted. I am from Scotland and the letter was postmarked 17 March.

How frustrating - those of us spread out across the globe will have to wait a while yet ... sigh.
Does the letter also state which college accepted you? Did those of you who have been made offers get your preference?

I received my offer to read for the M.Jur. degree at Oxford yesterday. The Notes of Guidance indicate that the college decisions are due by 21 April 2006. The offer letter only says that the college of first choice is now considering the application.

Today I rang the faculty and the lady picking up the phone said they are not able to provide the result by phone. Therefore she asked me to wait for the letter which will arrive very shortly. Maybe they want to avoid too much call.
I still keep my fingers crossed.

My BCL letter said that the offer guarantees me a place at a college and that the college specified on my application form will now consider my application. There is no mention of any timescale for this process.
Good luck to everyone who is still waiting to hear!

I got my offer too!
So even though we haven't heard back from colleges, does this mean that we will definitely get a spot in a college? I thought from reading the website that you can't be sure of the offer until you hear back from the college as well as the uni?

you are guaranteed a place in one of the colleges when you are accepted.

Do we know what the likelihood is of getting the college you specified as your first choice?
What did people pick? I went for Balliol...shall we get some banter going re which colleges everyone applied to?
