I figure most people know by now where they're going, so I thought I'd see who was heading to the BCL in September along with me. I'm 20, from Toronto, did my LLB at University of Durham and I'll be at University College. Anybody else?

I'll be at Christ Church for the MJur. I'm 25, German, and graduated from the University of Frankfurt. Some BCL/MJur students will meet in the pub King's Arms (next to Trinity College) on the 24th of September around 7.30 p.m. Would be glad if you're coming too.

Mid 20s Indian attending the BCL! Admitted to Keble College. Will be reaching Oxford on the 23rd!
Am curious is this meeting on 24th official or is it something students are organizing on their own.

It's nothing official, but I thought it would be great to meet some fellow students in a relaxed atmosphere before the whole thing eventually kicks off. Everyone is invited! I will download a photo in a few days so that you'll be able to spot me in the King's Arms. Leo and daniel12 from this board will be attending as well. Looking forward to meeting you!

Hey guys,
I'm 22 and have just finished my LLB at LSE. Looking forward to meeting you all, the 24th sounds like a great idea. What dates are people planning to arrive and what are people's opinions about how much reading we should do before the start of term?
Sarah

Hey,
I'm 22, did my undergrad at UCL last year and completed the BVC this year. Looking forward to coming to Oxford, but not so much the work from what i've heard!! The 24th sounds like a good idea and I definately will try to attend. I got a letter from the Faculty saying that we need to be in Oxford for an induction on the 26th so I will probably arrive on the 24th to move into my College accommodation (Pembroke).
I don't know about pre-reading, seems a bit weird considering that we won't have final confirmation of options until a few weeks into the course, but then again i suppose a lot of people have a good idea what they want to do before they attend.

I would pursue further study as a Mjur student in Oxford.
I 'm 22, and obtain my LLB in China.
The faculty told me to arrive in at 25th, and it seems everyone has the distinct schedule. haha!!

Hello everyone. I'm a Kiwi who graduated in 2003, and have been working for the past three years. Headed for St Catz. I'm travelling through Eastern Europe at the moment, so not entirely sure when I'll arrive in Oxford, but probably on the 24th. Will try my best to make it to the pub that night to meet up with everyone!

Hi folks, another Canadian here. I'm not arriving until the 26th of September.
I'm not a BCL student, but will be attending some BCL classes. I'm doing the MSt (the first year of the three year DPHIL).

Hey all,
I'm 23, just graduated from Bristol Law and French, BCL at St Hugh's this year. I'm moving to Oxford on the 22nd and am thoroughly looking forward to meeting you all. This pub gathering on the 24th sounds a great idea. If anyone fancies a cheeky pint or a game of squash on that weekend do get in touch.
My only concern with the BCL is the workload and that this will clash with social life. I hope this will only be partially true.
There's 3 of us from Bristol doing the BCL this year. A mate of mine did it last year and got 69 average - apparently it's hard work, very interesting and a diverse group - as you'd expect I suppose.
Look forward to hearing from you and all the best for moving in.
Tom

Afternoon everyone. Have been in Ox since Monday and have to say I haven't really been around the Law Fac much - this week seems to have been quite intro and so have spent most of it sitting in the sun. If anyone fancies a drink/ game of squash etc do give me a call - 07979868359 - very keen to meet new people! Tom
