Hi All,
I applied for the BCL online, and a few days later I received a standard letter asking me for supporting documents (which I had already sent).
I was wondering - has anyone received a letter/email stating that their application is complete?
Many thanks.

Just trying to keep this topic alive. Has anyone heard anything since submitting their application?

I applied by paper, just a few days before the deadline of January 18th, and I haven't heard anything at all yet.
That either means everyone can relax, as the reply process is still getting underway, or that I alone should be very, very worried.

I submitted my application for the MJur program on-line and made payment on the 31 of December 2007. But I havent yet received acknowledgement of my application (as explained on the page «What happens next?» http://www.admin.ox.ac.uk/postgraduate/apply/what.shtml) or any other inquires.
Has anybody recieved such acknowledgement?

Hi Bender,
I'm sure the process is still underway. I guess the BCL has literally thousands of applications to filter.

I imagined as much, and I'll (probably) refrain from any geniune panic for at least a little bit longer.
And besides, I take comfort in the fact that there aren't dozens of posters logging in to describe the volumes of correspondence they've already received...
Cheers!

I applied on line for an MJur in Nov., and after few days I received a letter reminding me I didn't send them 2 of 3 reference letters. When my referees sent them, I received an e-mail acknoledgment. That's all. I didn't have any other news, or letters from Ox.
Was it the same for you?

Hi Agnese,
I applied for the BCL in early Jan. A few days later I received a letter saying I was required to send transcripts and references. I had already done this. However, I have not received any acknowledgement email.
I'm not super worried though, as I guess thousands apply for the BCL/Mjur and the backlog of files is very high.

Hi guys
I applied on paper in early December and received my postcard 'notification' (ie the postcard stamped with 'applicaiton received') about two weeks ago. I'm from Australia, so hope that helps. A colleague of mine applied online and got an instant receipt of application email.

I applied online on 14th Jan and submitted my documents on 16th. I received an official confirmation from them sometime last week regarding receipt of documents and they mentioned that decision will be arrived at by 16th of March which will be mailed to me.

Oh by the way, I don't know if its their policy to send confirmation emails for receipt of documents. I am telling this because I had mailed them and asked if my documents had been received by the admission office. The mail could be a reply to that as well. I suggest you can mail them and ask. No harm in that.:-)
