Hi again,
Maybe I should clarify. I am looking at applying to Oxbridge for 2006 and I'm concerned about funding. Any tips would be much appreciated. thx again.

Hi,
Internal sources of funding within Oxbridge - You will find such information within the Graduate Studies prospectus and also at various college websites. You do not have to make a separate funding application for Oxford as long as you indicate which funds you are eligible for in the application form. On the other hand, you will need to fill in a separate application form, write an additional personal statement and obtain another reference for the Cambridge Trusts.
You may also wish to consider external sources - eg the Commonwealth Scholarships or scholarships which may be offered to students from your home country.
You have a fair amount of time if you start searching now. The Internet, the Careers Office at your university or the British Council are good places to begin your search.

Where possible, you should try to seek external sources of funding unless you are very confident of obtaining a scholarship from Oxbridge.
Most of these funding awards are partial. It is also a very long wait, particularly at Cambridge. You may not even hear until August in the year of entry.
