Oxford 2023-2024 OFFER HOLDERS

mjaekjlg

Hello everyone! Congratulations on your acceptance! I am so happy for all of us.

I apologize if this is premature, as most of us only received offers a few days ago, but I was wondering if anyone has heard about scholarships or sources of funding for these programs.

Someone posted a few years ago (I believe 2015 or around there) that the body of their informal offer email had noted that the program would be "self-funded", meaning they were not being considered for scholarships. Another person said the body of their informal offer advised that they were being nominated for Clarendon funding. This could be something they used to do, but don't anymore.

I'm just wondering if anyone has information on this, as the sooner I know about my financial situation, the better. Thanks very much in advance.

Hi there. Great idea!

Both my offer letters for MLF and MJur state the following:
"The University’s scholarship competitions consider eligible applicants who have received an offer as part of the November, December or January application deadlines for their course. Normally funding offers are made between late February and June. Please see our online information on funding options at www.graduate.ox.ac.uk/funding."

I think this should be pretty much standard.

Are you referring to the Certificate of Offer? I have only gotten the informal email at this point.
