Overseas graduates

Redios

Hi everyone, I'm a spanish graduate trying to entry in the UK legal market, and as any overseas graduate know is quite tough. Probably the biggest problem is the lack of information. So I would like to get in touch with other overseas graduates to network and swap information and advice. If you are interested please send me an e-mail to l.tovarfrench@hotmail.com
Thank you

I am an admissions tutor at one of the UK universities and I must say your question intrigued me. I suppose I don't know what you meant when you say legal market. If you are looking for jobs in the UK, I would suggest that the Law Society website is a good start in terms of explaining how to get your qualifications recognised. If you are looking at further study in the UK, what sort of information do you need, and available where?

You are right, maybe it was not very clear.
What I meant is jobs in the legal market for overseas graduates, before getting the qualifications recognised.
There is plenty of information and easy to find on the way to get the qualifications recognised. But it is a long way and very expensive, so now my main concern is how to finance it. And of course gaining some experience working in something related to law would be great.

So I'm really talking about jobs like Paralegal or alternative careers in Law.
