Offer letter Queen Mary

Inactive User

Hey everyone,

just received a conditional offer (academic condition, which will def. be realistic for me to achieve) for the LL.M. at QMUL for the 2013/14 entry; they have been really fast in replying to my application.

Now I just submitted my application to LSE and am aware that it might take them some months to send me a decision. But I have to accept the offer at QMUL within a month... will I be able to withdraw my acceptance after having once accepted it?? When will I have to pay my tuition for QMUL?

Thanks very much :-)

I believe that you can decline the offer even after you have accepted it. It surely must be common practice with these London programmes.

May I ask when you applied and for what specialisation? Thanks!

Thanks for this information. I was quite concerned I can't withdraw from my acceptance. But usually invoices of tuition are not mailed to the students before summer right?

I applied for QMUL (want to specialse in IP) last Wednesday and was accepted Friday night.
For LSE I chose IP as specialisation as well, finally submitted my application last night after my referees uploaded their letters.

Are you applying too?

I am going to attend an LLM programme at QMUL 2013-2014
with specialization in commercial and corporate law because as you know the center for commercial law studies is unique in the world...

Do you know anything else about the center for commercial law studies? Do you agree with me that it is the best choice for corporate specialization?

On the other hand, what do you think about scholarships? Is it easy to win a scholarship?

Thank you all for your replies. Daniele

Did you get a conditional or unconditional offer?

I accepted my conditional offer in October last year and didn't get any letter but this seems just to be normal. So no worries :)

Btw. We set up a facebook group for the QMUL LLM batch 2013/14. So feel free to join if you like: "QMUL LLM 2013-2014"

Does anybody knows how long it takes to get your offer letter from Queen Mary?

I received an email on april 17th saying that they offer me a place, but that I have to wait until I get the offer letter by mail. The email says that it will take about one week to send the letter.

I have been waiting now for 2 weeks, but still haven't received the letter. Is this normal?
