Hi guys. Sent an email to stu.rec@mail.lse.ac.uk today as I was told they are prompt in responding to queries in comparison to GAO- its been about 10 weeks since I received my ID and was told that a much lengthier wait is expected for us PhD applicants. So i guess more waiting

Hey everyone just asking - just got an email that my application has been passed to the degree committee. Is this normal? I applied on Dec 15th so not sure exactly what to expect

I guess that sounds promising? I applied late December, and got the e-mail confirming they had received and processed my application on December 30th. Did the e-mail say anything else?

Interesting. Hopefully that's good news! May I ask whether on the applicant portal, in the submitted documents section (the last section), your transcript(s) are shown at the very bottom of the list?

@Glorfindel, do you mean the 'drop-down' option next to the documents section? If so, the transcripts are still at the top! I've heard about this LSE theory, wonder how accurate it is?

"This email is to confirm that your application has now been processed by Graduate Admissions. Your application for your first-choice programme is complete and has been passed to the programme selectors for consideration. Further details and guidance about the next steps in the process can be found below." Then it linked me to the Graduate Application Tracker (here: https://www.lse.ac.uk/study-at-lse/Graduate/News/Current-processing-times) which honestly I don't understand at ALL, so any guidance on that front would be great! I do think they aim to have 8-10 weeks turnaround, which is the same for most other unis :(

Oh! This is just a standard email sent to everyone after their application + supporting documents have been checked by Graduate Admissions. Your application has been sent to the department. They must be processing applications very slowly, as I submitted mine on 8th Dec and received this email on 12 Dec.

That sounds awesome! Good luck!

So you applied on December 8th and got contacted last week. When was your application processed? I applied the week of Christmas and got my applicant ID on December 30th, but I have not gotten any further information since then.

Thank you :) my application was processed on 10 December (not 12 as I mistakenly mentioned above).
