Hello,
I am seeking advice about pursuing a specialism at LSE. I am in a difficult position because I came to LSE wanting to do Human Rights Law (or even Public International Law) but I have found over the past year that there are not many jobs in this area for people with little to no work experience. I have been told to pursue a job in the corporate world (which is easy to do coming from LSE) and try to transition into Human Rights later on. Is this true and if so, what should I do with my LLM with respect to courses? Should I take all corporate courses and no Human Rights courses? Any advice would be appreciated as I'm really unsure of what to do. Thank you!
