hi everyone,
I have recd. a conditional offer from LSE. The condition is that i should get 75 % overall aggregate for my degree. Are they too strict with this requirement. Do they lax the requirement by 1 - 1.5 percent. ?
They have also asked for my ielts score right from the test provider ? If i donot meet the english requirement in the first attempt and the score card reaches LSE, does it have any adverse impact on my offer ??
lse llm - advice urgent

First, congratulations on receiving an offer. It is not exactly a simple thing to achieve.
Second, however, I would encourage you to contact LSE directly about both matters. Am I correct to assume that you have received your final marks already and that you are just barely below the 75% condition? The reason I ask is that, if you haven't received your final marks, I would guess that the response you will likely get is that they won't answer the question as a hypothetical and that you should simply wait to receive your final marks.

I have not got my final result. But I know I cannot reach 75 % Just wanted to ask if there has been any precedent for relaxation of condition ?

The straightforward answer is that I don't know. I don't believe LSE is in the practice of setting conditions which they don't believe candidates can realistically achieve, however. I don't think they use the condition to constructively deny people offers.
Perhaps it is possible the admissions officers did not understand your current program or how marks are distributed at your university?
I would certainly contact them to discuss the specifics of your circumstances. Good luck!
