LSE Deferral

Martamag

hi guys, I really need a help from you all..
I have been accepted to the LSE but I need to ask for a deferral due to: 1. bar exam which I'll have to take in October (I unexpectedly passed the written exam and I have the oral one) 2. a good job place which I have found and don't want to leave so soon 3. save money.

I have been told that be granted a deferral is not that easy..anyone has got experience with that and can help me figuring out what's the best way to write down the request and motivation?
thank you all

chicken so...

I would just explain everything to them in reasonable terms.

I would focus on funding issues. This is a typical problem for many students, and they're going probably going to be sensitive to it.

The other issues: the bar and the job, aren't so clear-cut. They'll probably want to know (1) why don't you just start the program and take the bar, and (2) if you're starting a new job, are you really going to be able to leave it just a year in for the 2016 start? Personally, I would address these issues in the request.
