LLM in IP at UCL

hey,

Just to say that UCL have started to reply to applications for 2013/14, keeping true to their 6 week turnaround exactly to the day!

I was successful and i'm delighted to have the chance to go. Anyone else applying/applied/accepted? Any thoughts on accommodation for postgrads near the Bloomsbury Campus?

For clarity this was the only LLM I applied for as I wanted London (hence no Oxford/Cambridge) and I had a strong desire to be involved with UCL rather then QMUL (which I hear was strong in IP) or Kings. Although Kings and UCL seem to share a lot of the classes for the IP LLM so perhaps the two are pretty comparable.

Happy to answer any questions, keen to hear from others starting in 2013!

Hello,

your remark on the shared LL.M. courses with QMUL are true. I got a conditional offer for the IP LL.M. at QMUL but wanted to apply at UCL and King's as well. But after checking their schedules I found out that most of the IP course (and certainly the most interesting) are at the Lincoln Inn Fields campus of QMUL.
Did you consider LSE for your LL.M. as well? As far as I found out, QMUL is strongest in IP law, but LSE has a better reputation.

Anyways, congrats to your offer at UCL!
