Hi everyone..
I'm thinking of delaying the completion of my degree by a semester. Whereas normally I would have completed my degree requirements by May and been conferred the diploma in June, I am now thinking of completing my course requirements in August, which would lead to official graduation in November.
Does anyone know if this will affect my eligibility as a student starting an LLM in September/October? Is it enough to have completed all course requirements for the degree by the time I enroll in my LLM, or do I need to wait until the graduation ceremony has passed to be allowed to enroll? I mean, technically, I will have finished school in August, so shouldn't that be enough?
I've been offered a job opportunity I'd like to take on this semester so if I can reduce my courseload and take the extra courses this summer instead, while still starting my LLM in September/October, I'd much rather do that.
I've written to LSE and ADH to ask their opinion, but I'm inpatient and people here have good ideas. Thanks for any help!
