May I ask if someone eventually knows, if the Postgraduate Office of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences in Edinburgh sends out a final confirmation (by mail or e-mail) after having received one's acceptance letter for an unconditional offer?

The information available on the internet and in the letter with the unconditional offer I have got is in my view somehow unclear.

well, first of all, all the best then for your exams!

It has already passed some time I have gone through and just a few minutes ago a friend of mine and I constituted how glad we are having completed level 13 and defeated the creature in the end battle; and I am sure you will do so as well to your full satisfaction!

In answer to your original question, you should receive a confirmation once you have signed and returned your unconditional offer acceptance letter. All of the info will also be available on the website as to start dates (semester begins 22 September, I believe, but typically LLMs arrive prior to that.
