That frustrating man. Do you mind sharing some of your stats with us?
I had one of (if not) the highest grades of my cohort when I graduated (78%, up from a 2:2 in my first year), a research scholarship, and some pro-bono work. I also got two very good references.
Last year I just had the research scholarship and was at a 2:1 grade-wise. Maybe my grades seemed suspicious because I got over 80% in 4/6 of my final year modules?
Either that or my personal statement was terrible this time around.
