LLM Bristol

ecn

I have received an offer to study at the University of Bristol and I would be very grateful if anyone who has attended this institution or knows it well could give me their opinion about it.

What are the career prospects like? I have also been accepted at KCL but, unfortunately, I am not sure I will be able to meet the conditions the latter asks for.

Also, if anyone has any comments regarding the halls of residence of the University of Bristol (basically Deans, Chantry, Woodland, Blenheim, Colston), these will be much appreciated.

Thank you!

Very good law school and I hear they have an excellent LLM program. It is one of the top law schools in the country with and their library is excellent. The department itself has excellent facilities. I visited the school when I was made an offer but had to withdraw for other reasons. I regret I never had the chance of attending Bristol now.

I think in terms of career prospects you will be in a great position and in your shoes I would pick Bristol over Kings. I don't know much about the halls of residence!

Thank you very much for your post. I guess I'll just have to wait and see if I do meet King's conditions and then make a decision. Otherwise I'm sure Bristol will, by no means, be a bad choice.

What did you think of the city? Thanks again!

Hey no problem!

It's beautiful and very lively. The department is located in the iconic wills memorial building which is stunning and in a very nice area of the city. Plenty of buses, student bars, cafes, restaurants.. I wished I would have attended tbh but hey not meant to be!

Pick Bristol you will not regret!
