Hi! I have a really high 2:1 from Oxbridge (2 marks off a first). I don't think this is good enough to get in to the BCL/MLF or LLM at Cambridge at the moment. I want to do a masters and a phd eventually. Would it be beneficial if I continued with my training contract at a Magic Circle law firm and applied in a couple of years (how many years)? Or is it better to do a masters somewhere slightly easier to get into now and then try and get into Mst/Dphil programme immediately? Will the corporate experience be helpful or irrelevant or a hindrance? What would make me more desirable? research experience? Thank you in advance for reading my post and helping me.
