They favour International students ('cos they bring in the dosh) over Home students; (3:1 ratio) if anyone's interested. I didn't graduate from a top university (former poly) and received a 65.64% overall mark in my LLB.
I've already started my application and chosen the non-specialist route. I have a lot of mooting experience and legal work experience, however. I know they operate on a rolling basis, but I don't want to rush my personal statement so I'm thinking to submit my application in early January. Any tips for a mediocre student like me? Is there any point applying? Are people with average 2:1s from rubbish universities seriously considered or will my application by thrown into the bin before my personal statement is even read?
