Hi all,

Would you suggest a Liverpool or Edinburgh LLM? I have my MBA from Liverpool and am familiar with the way their courses are thought but have been hearing a lot of good things about Edinburgh and would like to know if the added cost is worth it?

Edinburgh hands down. A highly ranked university and worldwide prestigious. An LLM is a brand degree so pick the best place you can get into!

Can you elaborate on the 'brand degree' comment? what exactly do you mean?

It means that it carries a certain prestige. It is usually a degree that students/lawyers undertake to enhance their career prospects. Therefore, you need to attend the best school you get into. Liverpool does not even come close to Edinburgh. But then again it depends on your aspirations.
