KCL Applicants 2014/2015

GUYS,
I am an international student and just wanted to know if KCL offers some kind of full funding.

I seem to recall that their website states that they offer two 'full-funding' scholarships per year. One to home/EU students and one to international students.

Weird.

I got an email from Kings stating "This email is to notify you of a new message or decision regarding your application to the at Kings College London."

But when I log on to myapplication, there is nothing there - neither a decision nor a message... anyone else had this?

Yes - that exact same thing happened to me tonight. Did you find out what it was in your case ? I'm planning to write them an email to find out what's going on !

Yes I found out. For some reason an automated email is sent when supporting documents such as transcripts are approved. If you click the 'references and documents' tab you will probably see some new comment next to a transcript that you uploaded, or something.

So there is nothing for us to do and the email is rather pointless and confusing but that is the reason.

Incidentally does anyone know anything about the 'Yeoh Tiong Lay LLM Scholarships'?

There is no information on the website about how to apply, their value, or indeed about anything other than their existence...

My application was complete on the 31st October, although I had submitted it around 4th October and was just waiting for one referee for the rest of the month. I received my conditional offer on November 22nd.

I was surprised to hear back so quickly. I thought they would take around six weeks to respond. One of my tutors used to teach at KCL so maybe he put in a good word for me :)

Congrats everyone!

I applied at the beginning of this week, both references have been uploaded and my current status is 'Received and being processed'. Is this the first step? How many stages are there?

it's still the first step, and I presume that you have quite a lond wait in front of you. My application was completed (all documents received) on the 22nd of October and I am still on that step, with all my documents marked: 'not yet reviewed'
