Hi everyone
I am a European lawyer specialising in financial regulation. I have been admitted to several universities in the US and the UK and have narrowed down my options to Columbia (LLM) and Oxford (MLF). My post-Master's plan is to continue my career in big law in London.
The Oxford programme looks terrific and overall more appealing to me. However, I am trying to figure out which option would give me a better chance of finding a big law job in London.
As a foreign lawyer I could theoretically already take the SQE without the need of a training contract, but the process seems less straightforward (and less popular) than just taking the NY bar.
Any thoughts? :)
