Hey there people, how is it going? For me the wait has begun. I have sent out my application to several colleges, does any one know how long will it be before someone makes a decision. Does it usually take more than 3 months on recieving the application? Can anyone who is doing an LLM throw some light on that?

Hi you all
This week reached me the two first responses:
KC: rejected (application received on 13 October, decision communicated on 14 November).
Manchester: accepted (application received on 10 October, decision made on 16 November). Offer has been posted today, so I will know within the next two weeks if conditional or not.
Looking forward to knowing from UCL, Edinburgh and QM.
Best,

Hello.
I intend to apply too.
Can you help me with some question. I am not aware with UK education level. In my application form there is a question about education - "class, division or grade" of my higher education. Please help me with this.
Thanks

As soon as I get my letters of refference back ill be sending my aps to UCL and LSE....
Though I am a bit concerned. My grades arent excellent but I was a two time Jessup Moot Court participant in Washington, Student Council President in School, worked Pro bono as a public defender for a year and recently finished my law internship with Royal Dutch Shell.
Does anyone know if UK unis take these things into account? Or having failed a couple of subjetcs during my college years leaves me completely doomed???
Thanks for any feedback regarding my concerns....
pd.: I am a 24 year old South American student....
Hi! I pretty much have similar credentials as you do (except the Moot Court part, which looking back I should have joined). Have you applied already for an LLM? Are the results encouraging? I am about to apply, but I share the same worries as you.

Mmmm well... I haven't received any feedback from any of the Unis I applied to. At UCL they told me that I would have a response by Jan 24th, but I called and the admissions officer told me that my application was still with the Law Department and that she didn't know how much longer it would take for the to have a response.
Regarding LSE, the application tacking system says that usually it takes 8 weeks for a department to reach a decision. Having this in mind, I don't expect to receive a response before mid Feb.
Anyway, if you decide to apply I hope u do well!
