I have an offer from QMUL (commercial law) and Warwick (Int. Corp Gover and FR). I am confused which one to take up.
Warwick has a good name and reputation, where as studying at QMUL (central London) is an advantage in terms of gaining contacts.
I want to choose a college and the course that enhances my job prospects. I already have work ex of 2.6 years (in a litigation office and a company). Need your help in understanding which college is better.

I am sorry to inform you but you have heard wrong...! It would be senseless to compare QMUL and Warwick....! forget about the location....even if you go according to the Standard of teaching....it is rated and valued much better than Warwick. (QMUL-12th and Warwick -19th).....way too much of difference.
some may argue that these Times rankings are for under-graduates....then lets see The RAE (research points) QMUL ranks 11th.....and Warwick ranks way down at 30th place.
And the when we take into consideration the location and as you well mentioned the contacts and everything....these actually provide for an icing over the cake...!
But, if you really like the modules provided by Warwick then it is really worth...but otherwise....Blindly go with QMUL

I agree with Legal_India. Apart from the advantages of a London degree and its location, QMUL offers you an impressively wide range of specialised LLM programmes (together with the General LLM, of course). The school has become academically strong, and the Times Good University Guide places it among the Top 10 this year. So, unless you have a specific study programme at Warwick in mind, between the two law schools, QMUL is the safe bet. By the way, from my visit a long time ago, Coventry did not impress me at all. I hope it has changed a great deal since then.
