How can I be a solicitor in the UK?

I have my LLB in Iran and finished my LLM in Human right from India. Now, I live in the UK and would like to work in the UK law firm as a solicitor or barrister.
Could you tell me if I have any chance please? Or even any advice?

I am not an expert but you could perhaps read through the Solicitors Regulation Authority (http://www.sra.org.uk/home/home.page)

If you want to work in England then you might be able to do a transfer exam, otherwise you will probably have to do the GDL and LPC.

You will have to pass the upcoming Solicitors Qualifying Exam in order to qualify as a solicitor in the UK.
