This is a worst college i have ever seen....this college is established legally...everything is legal in accordance with UK laws. But in reality the college is spoiling the lives of 100s of indian students....even if you perform well the college will not give passmarks to the students.....and fail them,,,so they can earn money from resit fees......for each resit ,student must pay nearly 120 pounds(nearly 10000 INR). So they mainly interested in making money....once you paid the fees ,then situation changes.....they will never listen to your worries at all.....the academic services department is the most harrassing one.....if they fail a student....no need to pay the registration fees for each student.....to the university,,,so again to save nearly 2000 pounds for each student...they will fail the students and terminate the course ask them to leave the college...... 1. The conditions for PG courses are: a, The number of resit is only one.So totally a student can attempt an exam two times. After that if a student will just get PG diploma or PG certificate for The cost Postgradute degree. b,To give PG diploma and PG Certificate there is no need to pay extra money to the university.....so they will try their maximum to fail student and not to give pg degree..... So if somebody want to take it as a challenge their studies by spending lots of money can come and join....and risk their money and career.....

Funding and Scholarships
in 2005 this college announced scholarships for indian students, mainly affected by tsunami with the help of british council.....they published this news in all major indian news papers to attract students....but in reality...when we contacted british council...they said that they never heard of it ...and realted to this college at all...again cheating.......
Study Experience
Except one or two lecturers most of them working for making money to the college.....teachers are not well quaified for teaching Pg .....library is very small and not good or eligible to conduct PG studies.....very illequiped .some teachers are even harassing students and mentally torturig them through which ever way they can......
Life Experience
If you want to get a UK degree go and join some university even if you spend some money more.....u will get a dgree and can excel in ur career.....i am one of the affected student and helpless and trying to help others through this site.....if you are not believing me....plz ask any student who studied in this college or somebody who is living in london.....dont ask agencies they will provide only good picture not the reality....because the college is providing 25% commission for each student form fees...but reputed universities will never do this.....so the agencies will try to get max students to these type of colleges.S plz enquire with former students if you are going to sudy abroad.......
Job Prospects
In Uk if u are studying in an indepndent colleges like this the job prospective in UK is very less compared to University educated students.......nobody knows about this and spend nearly equal amount,,,,,,,

I am a lawyer from India,i was planning to do LL.M. under university of wales,so i started collecting information about university of wales LL.M.I got really impressed about laws of international trade course of university. So i thought of joining the course, but as a junior lawyer ,i cannot afford to pay fees of the university,so thought of joining a college affiliated to university of wales. Then i selected Holborn College,London for my studies. Now i am going to give all information which i collected through my friends in the college and other university sources.I was really depressed by the facts:1.The college library is very small and it is used by students of 2 LL.M(one from wales and another from Liverpool john Moore's),MBA,LL.B(from different universities),BA form different universities. There should be a separate library for PG students,it is not there in this college.A separate library will be always there for PG students even in low profile colleges in India.2.Now about the books:For a subject there is only few books are available.for eg:-only five books are available by one particular author. But what about the number of students it is more than 75 or more than that.3.If everybody want to do the course work or studies, what will be the situation, its horrible. Then i want ask one question ,what is university or college expecting from a student, what he is supposed to do his course work or studies during examination without enough number of books. If he want to buy a new book its very expensive ,the situation is not like in India.4.Now i got information that college library is going to close by 21st of December till 2ND Jan.What about the students who is supposed to submit his/her course work after Christmas vacation. He will be facing real difficulty in submitting his course work and after one week examination is coming, there are no enough books in the library and its closed. Please consider it as a complaint against the college.5.After a thorough research i found the reasons behind these artificially created situation. a. Holborn College is working only for the purpose of money, its not bothered about standard of education or the student. The college just want to make money. b.I got an information about the college, which is shocking, for example: if a student is graduating from college ,the college is supposed to pay some fees to the university as graduation ceremony fees.College took this money from each student as part of admission fees and reserved it for each student. So now the situation is like this,if a student fails the college can take that money.and this is the main reason behind the mass failures in holborn college.(because college don't want pay the graduation ceremony fees to the university).I think the fees is about 1200 pounds. Please see the document number 2 for information.Only if a student is graduated ,college is supposed to pay the money, now they are purposefully failing students and give them just a certificate or a diploma and asking them to leave the college. c.College assured each student orally that, they will be providing internships after the completion of the course, but after joining the college, college authorities changed the word or assurance they gave to students. Now they are saying that, they are not going to provide internships ,because again the college don't want to take any responsibility or pay money to any organization for internship of a student. d.During admission college said they are going supply books for law students, they gave only two books for (October session LL.M)and whenever students asking about the books, college always repeating the old story saying that, books are out of stock and they are going to get it soon.Examination dates are published and when they are going to give books to students?no idea. e.How can a student take action against these injustice, its impossible, because most of the students don't want to proceed against the college because of the fear of revenge. And most of the international students don't know about the UK legal system and it is very expensive too. f.Another big conspiracy going behind this college, college appointed agencies across all over the world, mainly in developing countries. The college is paying nearly 25% of a student's fees to the agencies. So these agencies are giving false information about the college. They will somehow convince the students by talking about the international opportunities and British standard of education. Then how a student from developing country can afford costly fees, the obvious choice is student loan. How the students are going to payback the loan amount ,which may be a huge amount in their country.Agencies will convince them by saying that students can work part time in UK and pay back the loan, but they always keep the truth with them(20 hrs/week limit for a student worker). Then after coming to London only one choice is left either work or study. Most of them will go for work ,so no studies, because of conspiracy so many lives are spoiled and the good name of British education is also spoiled.Another problem is regarding tuition hours it is just 11 hours including academic writing skills(no credits) per week. But in visa letter and other letters it was mentioned as 21 hrs per week.I don't know whats happening to UK education, its like a clear case of cheating from all the sides.

2005/06 % of students presented who were awarded LLM 30.6...... 2006/07 % of students presented who were awarded LLM 25.9...... This is the result of the Holborn College with regard to LL.M.(University of Wales). For the year 2007/08 is even worse......i will be coming out with that result soon...... This is the result of the so called reputed college. The MBA results are worst than LL.M....i am not just making allegations against the college......i am giving this information from the document that i have receivd in accordance with Freedom of information Act 2000 from University of Wales.I am making these comments with solid eveidences....not just a mockery of Indian Students.....and one more thing.....if you go to any reputed college/university and ask for the results.. ...you will not get a pass percentage below 75%...this year i am expecting a worst result ever.....

In most of the reputed universities....if more than 20% of the students is failed the concerned teacher has to explain before the academic board about the reasons for such mass failure....but in this so called reputedholborn college more than 75% of the students are failing in MBA/LL.M....but nobody should give explanation to any authority.....because the authority itself is the reason.....if any person is having any doubt.....abt my review then ask the college abt their results for last 5 years of MBA and LL.M....they cannot give you a satisfactory explanation....students are mainly failed in university of wales vlidated courses.....because the college is an independent provider of the course and the university is just validating the course...so the college is conducting course, exams and just getting validation for their actions.....ofcourse from this you can assume that the college is misusing their powers and the university is indirectly or unknowingly supporting this money making team of pirates........if you want, check other college's results namely London School of Commerce their passing percentage for MBA is 95%.So before joining an institution think 10 times and decide....and dont jump into these kinds of traps.
