Hi,
I just finished my JD in the US. I am interested in pursuing International Public Law. I have been admitted to four programs in the UK. Can you please help me decide which one would be best: King's College, SOAS, UCL, and Queen Mary? I have to decide pretty soon, so any advice would be helpful! Thanks.

I don't know much about Public International Law (other than that Cambridge is the best in the UK) but I would say that UCL has a clear lead over King's, which in turn is better than SOAS and Queen Mary.

UCL by far has the better reputation. Although QM is seen as one of the weaker of the intercollegiate institutions it has come on leaps and bounds in the past decade and has substantial cash to continue this.

UCL , without a doubt.

Hi guys, the rankings are driving me crazy! How does one really go about chosing the right school in the UK? How does one really tell objectively which offer to chose from if you have admission to the LL.M of both the University of Nottingham and the University College London? I ask because even though UCL has got pedigree and is highly rated because of its past, recent surveys tend to indicate that the LLM at Nottingham is more highly rated than the LLM in UCL!!! Guys, please lemme have your views! UCL Vs. Nottinham, which is better for the LL.M. Thanks in advance for your objective and candid views!

Don't know if it is helpful, but you have to decide between a great interesting city and a "small" students town. I think studying in London is the better choice. Regarding the quality of study or faculty, there might be little differences, but that should not make the difference when it comes to job search. If you like the more personal touch Nottingham could be the better place for you to go. In summary, I personallly would prefer studying at UCL. Great city (altough quite dangerous these days), good reputation. If money counts a lot, Nottingham is going to be cheaper, especially rents are cheaper than in London.
Good luck

Talking about Cambridge town, went there years back and got bored after just half an hour...unlike Oxford which is a beautiful city, I found Cambridge town boring and dull..nothing really to see there. So if you just want to study and do nothing else, maybe Cambridge otherwise choose a LL.M in London

UCL by far is better than Nottingham in terms of reputation.
