Hey Ppl!!!
Calling all of you who have decided on LSE..... I have recieved my offer about two months ago. Made my decision to go there ( that had to be taken considering the fact that i have been rejected by both Oxford and Cambridge...lol). I have applied for accomodation and got a confirmation from Carr Saunders. What is the latest on Graduate Merit Award and Scholarships? Looking forward to inputs and suggestions.

Hey,
I'm heading to LSE too, will be staying in Grosvenor House!
There wasn't a real deadline, I was asked to reply within 8 weeks, but even if I hadn't done so, I wouldn't have lost my offer.

I'm from Brazil and I hope I can meet you all very soon. Do they have any quota scheme at LSE? I've heard this is very commum.

Hope to see you soon too. I really dont think there is a quota scheme. but Indians, Chinese and Brazilians seems to be the majority in all the colleges in UK. That is what I have been told.

I applied sometime in late november. got an offer in the first week of January and the accomodation offer was made a few weeks back. Yes, it was an online application except for the recommendation letter which was send by post. What subject are you specializing in? See you soon at LSE.

What about the scholarship? has anyone applied for GMA or GSS? Anyone else going to Carr Saunders?

Hy guys,
Unfortunately, I've just got LSE's answer and, although I thaught I had applied on time, my application was not even considered. They suggested that I reinstated it for next year...
Wish you all the best next term!

Lilian Knowles is good ~ and is also my first choice, that old building looks so gorgeous..unfortunately, i was allocated to Sidney Webb House instead..
i'm still struggling whether to go for, given i have a training contract in hand and chances for the deferral is still uncertain & the costs is huge...wish that i can be determined and see u guys this sept

Hi,
I'll be an intern in London next summer and consider applying for a room at Sidney Webb House. I'll be working at the City. How good is the place, and do you confirm it would be convenient to work at the City ?
Thanks for your help

They have a quote for international students. At the moment that quota has been reached, so any international students who've met the criteria for admission will be put on a reserve list, and will only find out if they've been made an offer after 31 July.
If you're an international student and you haven't got an offer, or haven't been put on the reserve list, chances are you won't be getting a place at LSE this year.

Hi all,
I've also decided to go to LSE next year. I'm very excited about it. I'm a junior associate at a Canadian law firm with some international trade law experience. I'm hoping to enjoy the year for its own sake (it's a once in a lifetime experience to get to live in London for a year and focus on an area of study I really love). Once I come back to Canada, I plan to use the credential to help me get into international law or policy work in the Canadian government.
