Hey everyone, I am from India and have been offered a seat for BCL at Oxford. Was wondering if anybody has any suggestions regarding the possible ways to secure some funding to sponsor the study, either wholly or partly. I am aware of felix n inlaks...also planning to apply for a loan. Just wanted to know if there are any other ways to bear a share of the financial burden ( maybe working as a research assistant etc.) at Oxford itself. Any suggestion in this regard will be greatly appreciated. Thanx..!!

financial aid is always an issue!
you can get a part-time job and work up to 20 hours per week under a tier 4 student visa so try to find a job as soon as you ge there and im sure that will help you a lot,,,try not to get a very stressfull job since you need time to focus on your studies

I am pretty sure Oxford does not allow its masters students to have jobs without the permission of the faculty

Thanx a lot..!! :) will keep that in mind.. actually even I have heard that the masters students at Oxford can't take up jobs just like that..anyhow, I will try and gather some more information in this regard. In the meantime, if anyone has any other suggestion to make or light to shed, pleasssse keep posting.

Still 20hours available for working with Tier 4 visa? Insofar as I know, it seems to decrease to 10hours in accordance with the revised visa regulations.
