Hi,
I was wondering whether anyone could enlighten me as to what the entrance requirements are for a BCL.
I have an average in my LLB which falls marginally short of the equivalent of a first class honours (my university does not have an honours program).
Is there any possibility of other factors - e.g. publication of scholarly articles during practice which are taken into account in the application process?

I dont think everyone doing the BCL course had a first when I was doing it (for example several of the students who had been to Ox for undergrad). If you have close to a first with several publications and good work experience etc I would say its definitely worth applying. Good luck!

Thank you lawyer2006. The info was much appreciated. I've just graduated from an undergrad degree in Sydney, so I guess I will go about getting good work experience and into writing those scholarly articles to improve my chances.
