I would love to receive feedback as to which university has a better reputation. Will be off to study towards an LLM in International Law at one of these unis next year. Can not make up my mind!

I have applied to both and have not received an answer yet.

If I were you I'd better go to Nottingham especially when u want to make master in International Law. I think Nottingham curriculum is better :)

To be honest, it is difficult to pick between them. I believe Nottm offer a wider selection of modules but both are excellent universities with leading academics in international law, both nationally and internationally. Really, you need to look at what you want to study (module wise) and work it out from which one offers exactly what you want, which one will give you a chance to learn from the academics you respect, if indeed you do, and which one, ultimately, ticks the most boxes.

Another point one needs to consider: a student's academic relationship with his/her university/tutor/professor does not end after the LLM programme. Your bond with the university/tutor/professor extends throughout your career upon completion of your LLM; it is a lifetime affiliation with the university, and with the current technology, it is an opportunity to forge a life-long academic relationship with your tutor/professor beyond your LLM year. So it would be best to know/identify the professor you would want to learn from (and as S_Dimelow aptly puts it, from the academics you respect). In this regard, your professor may even become a mentor over the long haul. Your sense of fulfillment would be greater if you view your academic relationship with your university and professors in this light.

I did my LLM in International Law at Edinburgh and it was an excellent programme. I had also been accepted to Nottingham but after many recommendations from academics in the US, I chose Edi. My relationship with the professors and the school led me to return after several years of law practice to write my PhD in International Law as well. The lecturers are highly respected in the field and are involved with many projects across the globe. There is also an active student programme in Int'l Law covering a wide range of specialty areas, ie: human rights, environment, trade, and the list goes on. You can see one of the student-led groups here: http://www.law.ed.ac.uk/communities/mainview.aspx?ref=1
Choosing an LLM should be about what you want to get out of the programme and where you want to be when finished. The prestige of the university is also important and Edinburgh is definitely one of the top British universities. The living aspect is also important. Edinburgh is a wonderful city, easy to travel around, and home to so many amazing arts and events. Even though it is much larger than Nottingham, it is not an overwhelming city and you can easily find yourself feeling quite at home here.
Best of luck in your decision!

And another admission I have from Leiden - Advanced LLM in Public International Law with criminal law specialization.

Is there anybody to advice me which one to choose?
