i'm a postgraduate student-))) i was givem an offer for this college, may be because i choose it by mistake when i fill in my application form. do you now i can change the college? i accepted my offer...

@dinara25: It's quite complicated if you change colleges and there's no assurance you can transfer.

Let me tell you about my experience. I was in Josephine Butler College for my LL.M (2007-2008). The year after, I decided to study for another postgraduate degree, i.e. Masters in Finance. I was then assigned to Ustinov College. Having been in Durham for a year, I knew I wouldn't be happy in Ustinov (just a personal decision and Ustinov may be good for some people).

I requested Ustinov College through its Admission Secretary to release me. I gave justifications for that. I wont elaborate on the justifications anymore unless you want concrete examples.

At first, Ustinov declined. I kept writing them and finally, they referred me to Trevelyan College.

Take note that for you to be able to transfer to another college, the original college must consent to the transfer.

i like josephine butler college. great facilities, great gym, great laundry, everything new... you'll also have a share of formal dinners and balls.

i still have mates there and in fact im going back to durham on the 23rd for vacation! yipee! :-)

Just out of curiosity, which modules will you guys be selecting for your LLM..

who know about the difference between these college?they influence only for living not for education? college means only accomodation?
