I applied for the Oxford Internet Institute's DPhil. But I will only hear from them in May, since there was a change in the Gathered Field, from 3 to 4. Where are you doing your LLM, and what is your area of concentration? Best of luck in your application.

I did my master's in Europe and I am now in N.America. I was wondering if you are aware of the way they communicate decisions. I've heard that we should wait for them via snail mail only. Nevertheless, it is quite worrisome not getting an e-mail, while they accept less than 10 people (in other words, I think I 've been rejected, but let's see...). My areas are law and society, legal pluralism, sociology of law.

What about you? Good luck to your application.

My area is Law & Technology, with focus on ethics and jurisprudence of technology. I am doing my masters in Canada. For the PhD, in the UK I applied for Oxford and the University of Edinburgh (both outstanding options in my field of research). About the admission process, why don't you e-mail them? Good luck, and be optimistic.
