Hi Everyone,
I have interests in both public and criminal law. Before stating my specific interests in these areas, I would like to pose the question of the respective merits in specializating in these areas. Is one generally more practical than the other? In what contexts may one trump the other in being more appropriate, and vice-versa.
I would appreciate even gut reactions to this question as I am more or less a novice in the area of practical concerns, including short-term and long-term employment. I can also readily respond to questions that might help you help me.
The reason for my general interest in these areas is an interest in policy and practice within each of the spheres, particularly, perhaps, where they intersect.
Thank you very much,
