Go to the websites and find out who the lecturers of the different courses in each uni are. Then look them up to see if they've got books published and how prestigious the journals that their articles are published in are.

This of course won't tell you much about how good a teacher they are but will tell you how strong the law departments are in commercial law. People ranking them here is pretty pointless. What you need is to get feedback from people who've actually studied at these Unis.

All of the major firms also look at Edinburgh and host several receptions throughout the year to meet the current LLM students. The lead lecturers are at the top of their game in Edinburgh and are key players in commercial law development within the UK and EU. Knowing the expertise of the lecturers not only helps with deciding your own interests but also ensure that you will find common ground and thus a greater understanding of commercial concepts. You can check out the Edi lead lecturers in Commercial law at http://www.law.ed.ac.uk/pg/taught/llmcommerciallaw.aspx
