Hi All,
I have been informed that i was awarded the Rio Tinto-Chevening-CEPMLP scholarship for my LLM Mineral Law and Policy this year. I am very excited for this and looking forward to seeing you guys all in September.
Now, i have been waiting for my CAS to apply for my visa. Is there anyone who also come from China to study at CEPMLP this year?

Hey guys,
I thank you for your warm words of congratulations.
I congratulate you, Ashihdas sincerely as well on your selection as a Commonwealth Scholar.
I am now waiting for my CAS for my visa as well as formal letter of scholarship to arrange something about my current work here in Beijing. Those are the things that i have been concentrating on with more attention nowadays since the start day of the academic year is approaching.
About the accommodation, i was informed that it was up to the Admission's office to handle it.
It is certain that i will be in Dundee during the welcome week so that i can be matriculated and adjust myself to my new environment.

Hi all,
I'm from Indonesia and also taking LLM on Mineral and Law Policy. I have also been informed that I was awarded with the Rio Tinto Scholarship. So, my situation is pretty much the same with Enkh-Amgalan, I am waiting for the CAS and the formal letter. Enkh-Amgalan and Ashihdas, congratulations for the scholarships!!
I also haven't heard anything from the University's accommodation. A friend of mine told me to check 'The Hub', it's pretty close to the university.
Can't wait to see you guys in Dundee.
Cheers!!

Hi mididis, Hi Asish,
Congratulations on being awarded the scholarship!
This board seems to be getting dedicated to all scholars, and am feeling a little nervous and *cough* out of place :-). Would love to also hear from those who would do the course anyway - with/out scholarship.
Even I haven't heard from the university concerning accommodation, nevertheless, I did read a post on the fb page of UOD saying they will definitely be providing accommodation to all who've applied prior to 31st July 2011. Am thinking in terms of sharing apartment for accommodation, any female interested, do get in touch.
Best Wishes,
MX

Hey guys hi,
I have been looking for a private accommodation since i have applied for my accommodation at Seabrias after the deadline 31 July.
It seems to me that seeking a private accommodation via internet is something not easy, but anyway there is no other way to do this. I think private accommodations are cheaper than the univ.accommodations but but most of them /quite cheaper ones/ are not equipped with services like internet or fridge etc.
Personally i prefer a studio to a shared flat. If i wont find something "ok" before my departure, i plan to visit some studios after my arrival in Dundee.
Has anyone of you found the accommodation?
Enkh

Hi All:
I got accommodation offer from the university residences but it's way too costly than private accommodations. Also, it's on term contract, so, you check in for the entire term - there'll be enormous difficulty in trying to vacate earlier. Therefore, am looking for private accommodation, found a few through internet but, i guess, can't say much prior to seeing the site.
Am looking for a female flatmate, so, any female interested in sharing - do get in touch.
Hi pdouble, welcome aboard! Quite a few from India :)
Ashish, you multi.speciality, multi.talented genius...you blog also!?!
Am anxiously awaiting my visa to get processed, if it gets done..will see you guys on 3rd/4th/5th of September'11.
Cheers!
