Hi,
I'm currently studying for a external law degree with the University of London in my country, Malaysia. There's a high probability that I may move to the UK in 5 years. Was wondering if I'd qualify to apply for a license to practise law in the UK?

Can a Malaysian with an UK law degree practise law in the UK?

"The Law Society [of England and Wales] and the Bar Council recognise the law degree of the University of London for external students as qualifying law degrees, provided the period of study involved is not more than six years and the graduate has passed the written assessments in the seven foundation law subjects. Please refer to the course provider for further information."

I hope that helps.
