I really hope you're right, but I'd query how accurate that PDF of the degree committee meeting dates really is.
I have a feeling that the meetings are more informal and convened on an ad hoc basis. The law dept's camsis updates generally do not seem to correlate with the reported meeting dates.

I’m torn. One the one hand I’m following this thread and I’m really eager to get an answer as soon as possible. On the other hand, I’m a little bit worried that the answer might come too soon and will eventually require a confirmation before the other universities I applied to make their decisions regarding funding.

That's good news, thanks!
The Trust posts on their website: https://www.cambridgetrust.org/scholars/awards/
Looking at the first awardee of a Trust scholarship and the name sounds familiar. He is quite an accomplished chap! From undergraduate to PHD.

Hi LegalLife, then are you attending UCL this year? I guess I pretty much end up with UCL
Nope.
A person posted on the results section of the student room website that he interviewed for the PhD in law and was told orally on the phone that he would be made an offer and he stated that he's waiting for BOGS.
Hopefully we hear something soon as the waiting is agonising.
Where did you hear that trust scholarships are beginning to be issued? [/quote]

I think you're right, especially with the BOGS, which only meets monthly yet approves applications daily, it seems. For what it's worth, in the interview I was told that the degree commiittee had met "last Thursday", which corresponded with the PDF scheduled meeting. I'm not sure if it's a coincidence though.

Hi guys, have you applied for the Dphil at Oxford as well? Do you have any ideas as to when will applicants hear back from them?
Posted Feb 13, 2017 11:05
Hi,
I am so desperate to hear back already! I have lots of work to do but I keep checking Oxford and Cambridge for a response. I want to forget about it and get on with life but ahh! I was told Cam should be now or at least very soon. Oxford I applied for the DPhil in Criminology which is within law and she said they do not even look at applications until end of Feb and decisions come 10th March latest (administrators for crim words). You could call the law administrator number is on DPhil law page and ask her/him. They seem to be generally really helpful. At least with Oxford I am not that anxious as I now know the results won't be out until much later. But Cambridge is killing me!

PhD in law. Though, my programme has now changed to "CPGS in Legal Studies". This corresponds with the Faculty's website regarding the status of first-year PhD candidates.

CONGRATS to you joeyman and bgg on the progress of your application I am sure an offer should follow through shortly.
I had circumstances that prevented me from uploading my documents immediately and they allowed an extension (submitted end of Jan). I just called them and she said the relevant committee have not sat to review my application yet because I was put on hold. I know my application has not been considered yet I keep checking, how silly! I just want to know one way or another!
What is your background if you don't mind me asking and what will you be researching at Cam? Are you a home student? :)

I am overseas status, presently an LLM student and my field of interest is public law. How about yourself?
