Hi all,
I´ve been admitted to Hughes Hall. However, I haven´t received my formal conditions letter from Cambridge. This makes me pretty nervous.
I would like to accept the offers (from uni & college) only if I get some financial aid. Otherwise, I would ask for a deferral. In this case, I have some questions:
1) should I accept the offers and then try to look for money? 2) Is there a fixed deadline for accepting the offers (at least, online)??
3) Is it possible to accept an offer and then defer it for the following year?
4) does anyone know when are decissions on scholarships normally disclosed?
Many thanks in advance.

Hi Tomix. I have been admitted to Hughes Hall as well.
To accept the offer from the University, you can do it online using your self-service page Camsis: once you've gained admission, though conditional, a new label would appear in blue "accept/decline offer".
As far as I remember, there was no possibility of deferral for the LL.M and the deadline for accepting was 6 weeks from the date shown in your formal letter.
As for the college membersip, I think there is no deadline but you cannot accept their offer if you aren't able to prove that you can afford it since, from the very beginning, they require you to sign a 'deed of financial guarante' and 'details of means of financial support'
(have a look here: http://www.hughes.cam.ac.uk/?section=admissions&page=Accepting_an_Offer)
Scholarships: I've read in other thread that decisions would arrive in august-september, meaning, when everyone would have proved to have enough funds to pay Cambridge.
Good luck! I am trying now to achieve my non-standard academic conditions...
