Hi folks!

I'm new to this thread but am in desperate need of some answers... I moved to the BOGS on Monday (March 27th) and am waiting to get an offer hopefully! I'm worried, however, because I have been offered a job offer that I'd like to safely turn down knowing I can go to cambridge, but don't want to for some reason get rejected from BOGS and then have no job options (lol).

One of my friends who is currently getting her Mphil said we can check when the BOGS meets on this website: http://www.student-registry.admin.cam.ac.uk/about-us/board-graduate-studies/meeting-dates-and-minutes

Is that intelligible to anyone? has anyone reached out to ask about the BOGS timing? I've heard some people wait a few days and some wait weeks....

One of my referees, a alumni of the same university, sent my reference from a personal email. Now I have to send a physical copy of the same to GAO authenticated by the school.....sigh

Congrats to all of you who have heard back! It doesn't seem to me like those who have had to wait till now to receive an update have been getting rejections (unless those who were unsuccessful didn't post!). So fingers crossed for the rest of us in DC land. Unanswered calls and emails too on my end - all I get is Ms Wade's voicemail.

Thanks! Well that shouldn't be a problem, right?! Good luck!
Conditions are my biggest fear! I've had a "confirmation" by phone that I've been recommended for a conditional offer and now I fear that they tell me to graduate with a grade which is absolutely utopian. In France the scale is THEORETICALLY from 0-20....

Well they also told me to get a first class honors from my LLB and have been waiting for my results for two months now. Between Cambridge and my local college they have got a squeeze on me going. Over the last twenty years my college has only awarded four first class so am a bit fidgety about the grade...

Anyone who knows if I get a string second upper if they will yank the conditional acceptance?

According to the guidebook that they link in the self service with your conditions you can still submit your transcript if you don't get a first through your self service account and then the Law School will consider whether they will still admit you so you definitely don't lose your offer immediately or anything.

Still UCDC :/ I have emailed Ms. Wade thrice and have even left a voicemail on her number but to no avail.

Has anyone received a rejection or know of anyone who has received a rejection this week? Would they honestly make us wait for so long just to reject us?! So inconsiderate!

I've been following this thread for the past few weeks but haven't had any reason to post before now.

I finally managed to get through to Miss Wade this morning after trying to call for the past few days and, like the people who called before, was also told that I've been recommended for a conditional offer. CAMSIS was still displaying as UCDC at the time I called her (though it has updated to BOGS in the past few minutes). Good luck to everyone else still waiting to hear.

Her number is 01223 330034 if anyone wants to see if they can get an answer, by the way.

Thanks, I just tried ringing a few times again inspired by your post but didn't get through. You must be so relieved - congrats on your offer!

So everyone in the past couple of days received good news!? Congratulations to everyone!! Do you really think they will reject people now who are still UCDC and haven't received any update regarding their status?!
