I really hope they give us some answers tomorrow. I cannot bear another UCDC weekend. =(
Cambridge LLM 2017 - 2018 Applicants

Dear all, I have been following this thread for quite some time now and I'd like to thank you for sharing. I feel it is my turn now. I am still UCDC and Ms Wade haven't replied yet to the email I sent on Tuesday at 3:45 UK time. I don't know what to think but will keep you posted. Good Luck! M.
What I have found strange is that Ms Wade has only responded to announce that applicants will receive conditional offers. It would make more sense that she would respond to those who had been rejected (since its bad enough having to wait beyond the deadline but its even worst if the wait hasn't paid off).
Therefore, my conclusion is that either everyone of us still at UCDC will receive conditional offers or, indeed, this whole process is being conducted in an even worst manner that it already seems to be.
Any hope of the former conclusion being true?

Now it's easier for me to say, but, to be honest, yes, I do.

Has anyone's status changed to "application unsuccessful" recently, in the past couple of hours?
Posted Mar 23, 2017 20:46
Still UCDC!
Posted Mar 23, 2017 21:18
No one heard back from them today? :( I'm a little bit confused.. if we are still dc, does that mean that we have to pass BOGS stage as well? Or due to their delay we'll be notified if we were successful oe not without BOGS stage?
My status changed today from "Awaiting consideration by the Board of Graduate Studies" to "Application awaiting approval by BGS". Whatever that means.

Still UCDC here. Do you know someone whose status has recently changed (=no longer UDCD)?

I got BOGSd on 16th March and received a conditional offer on 23rd. For all those who are UCDC, hang in there!

I know someone who was also DC till yesterday, got rejected last evening around 5-530 UK time (status changed to unsuccessful). I was wondering if there were any more people with the status update. I am still DC as well

I got BGOS on the 3rd of March and STILL have not had an update. I am seriously thinking that I've been forgotten about.

So even after all this waiting, they're still rejecting people :(

Hi everyone, I've been following along with the conversation for a few weeks but haven't been contributing. However, I have a quick query that I hope someone might know the answer to. On March 16th I moved from UCDC to awaiting decision by Board of Graduate Studies, today I moved to application awaiting approval by BGS. Does anyone know if there is a substantive difference between these statuses and if it means that I'm less likely to get a conditional offer because of it? I may be reading into things too much but the wait is stressful.

I am in the same boat! Initially it was "Awaiting decision by BOGS" now its Application Awaiting approval by BGS", For guys who have interacted with the application process could you kindly advise what does this mean? Are we halfway in or are we still in dreamland? Anyone?

Same here. I moved out of UCDC on the 8th of March, and about two days ago my status changed from "awaiting decision by the Board of Graduate Studies" to "awaiting approval by BGS". Still no change... it's the 24th and i've been BoGS since the 8th basically. I don't understand why this stage is taking so long since I was made to believe this was considered more of a "formality". The problem is I really need to make important decisions among other things financial aid and this is leaving me hanging in the air because I've got nothing concrete yet...

I contacted Ms. Wade days ago now and she never bothered to get back to me. Still DC.
This university's admissions process is a disgrace in my opinion. I am really unimpressed.

Same here. Not going to check unless someone reports movement. Another week has passed by and no answer.

I just called the Graduate Admissions Office, apparently that status change meant our decisions were on hold until the law school sent them additional information. They got that information an hour ago and at the very least she said I should hear back on Monday. I pushed a little bit asking if this stage was really a formality and she confirmed that it was and that if we are at awaiting approval by BGS that we should get a conditional offer and go forward to the process of being assigned a college. I think I have that more or less as she put it.
Anyway in other words, it's not our fault and we're not alone, apparently it affected a lot of applicants.

That explains the delay and why I've been waiting since the 8th. Thank you for calling and letting us know!

Not a problem, I wasn't looking forward to spending the weekend worrying so I figured that if I could stop some of the rest of you from spending your respective weekends like that there was no harm in it.

I have a bit of a different question guys , if anyone would be able to help me?
I received a conditional offer through e-mail but I am currently studying another masters right now , but met the criteria of first class degree for undergrad. I haven't received details of my offer because self service still not been updated. But does anyone know if I will have to reach a certain academic requirement for my masters i.e merit/distinction to get onto the LLM or will my undergrad be enough.
sorry just feeling abit anxious!
