Cambridge LLM 2017 - 2018 Applicants

Thanks RAGN1989. I think as we've seen in previous years, I'm assuming from now on things will happen in a rolling fashion. Fingers crossed.

I think so too!

Hi all

My status also changed to awaiting decision by BGOS on Friday (I think around midday UK time). Will keep you updated as to how long it takes to move to any other stage.

Congrats:)

The wait is finally over: Decisions have now been made and will be communicated shortly.

For some of you this will mean good news. Most of you however will be disappointed because they didn't make the cut. Being as ambitioned as you are you won't take this easy. In fact, you'll chew on it for a long time. I've seen students who never got over it at all.

What does help however, is to let it all out. To yell and curse and rant in this forum. So please go ahead and bring it on, we wanna hear your pain.

Epperdonf is back at it again! You used to annoy me every year with trolling the LLM threads but now you just make me laugh. Hahahaha

That's just sad. You think you're gonna get into our heads?

Please :-)

Eppendorf not sure if you're being serious or not. But if not, I'm sorry, but that's really not funny. Especially the first sentence. Some of us are really nervous and got upset about this post, knowing that their applications are still in DC while some got to BOGS (although I know that's not too rational).

From reading your profile, I know that you studied in Cambridge years ago. Please have some sense of empathy for students who really want to study in Cambridge, but can't.

When, oh, when - irrespective of the outcome - will #ForeverDC become #ForeverDCnomore.....

I have honestly gotten to the stage now whereby I care much less than I did before about the actual outcome - BoGS or "application unsuccessful" - so long as the result is actually forthcoming. I just want to put this behind me and direct my focus towards other pursuits rather than continuing to obsess over the Graduate Self-Service page, checking a status that never changes.

Here's hoping we all don't have to wait much longer. Congrats to those who have already heard. Very happy for you guys!!

Vari57,

You have expressed exactly how I feel!! I am also finding myself obsessively checking my CAMSIS page and checking here to see who received a response. I think the majority of us will start to hear after the BoGS meeting this week.

Good luck to all!
