Cambridge LLM 2015-16

waywardMVR

Hi everyone! Does your camsis work? I haven't read this thread for a while...any interesting news? Did anybody receive offers/rejections for the LLM? Seems like they should start sending offers...the deadline is on the 15.3 so I assume all offers will be made before friday 13...almost there!

Even I am having trouble with accessing CAMSIS. I am unable to open the Login page.

We probably shut it down by checking every 5 minutes.

I wonder if this means that our statuses are being updated. Does anyone know if this has occurred in the past?

I know the tension is on for everyone but lets keep hope alive. From last year, the first status change was reported on Feb 28th and offers moved from BOGs stage to conditional/ unconditional offers in early March. It may be earlier for this year or even later but let us keep our fingers crossed and hope for the very best.
The wait will soon be over. And i hope each of us here will have a positive response.

in a previous post you told us that they send their replies mid-March....your previous post follows:

As someone who was admitted last year, do not expect to hear back from Cambridge until mid March. The same information is reflected on their website. Last year, we had back from them around mid March.

Why have you got such a vendetta against her? Even if she was wrong, who cares. Technically admission and a change to BoGS, are different. Can we just leave the childish nitpicking and fighting out so we can support and encourage each other. If you have an issue why don't you just PM. Frankly her behaviour recently has been a lot more dignified than yours.

Do not give him any airplay. Let us continue the wait. And good luck to everyone.

Hey guys, I am a PhD applicant but because there's no PhD related topic I decided to post here.
My status has changed to awaiting approval by BGS. I had an interview over the telephone about 10 days ago.
Does anyone know around when I will know if I am also offered funding? Because if no funding then no PhD for me... :/

Could you please tell me whether your interview was conducted by the BGS or the degree committee。My status has changed to awaiting the decision by the BGS,but I have no interview yet. Thank you.

My question is for those who applied for the Commonwealth Shared Scholarship. Last year, the practice was that you applied using the GRADSAF form and once you were nominated, you received an email in April from Carmen Butler asking you to fill in the EAS.
I just checked out the Cambridge Trusts page and Commonwealth Commission Page and saw something about having to fill in the EAS by the 2nd of December 2014 and that the deadline has now passed.
Is anyone aware of this? TIA

It is a bit confusing right? I checked the prospectus again. It says that candidates must apply using one of two methods: "Via university" or "EAS only" and for the University of Cambridge it's specified that one has to apply "Via EAS". Only two universities (Cambridge and Chester) have this particular option of "Via EAS" whereas the rest have either "Via university" or "EAS only". I don't remember the application form mentioning anything about applying separately using the EAS. I did not do it :( If that means I won't even be considered for the scholarship scheme, clearly, my Cambridge dreams are almost over!

I was as worried as you are initially because last year, we only filled in the EAS after getting nomination emails from Cambridge telling us that we had been nominated for the award and asking us to fill in the EAS. The EAS was actually available until April. This year however, the EAS was only available for Cambridge until December.
So today I emailed Cambridge Trusts and was assured that what I needed is having filled in my GRADSAF by 2nd December 2014. So I guess they will adopt last year's format of nominating people to be put forward for the award who will then have access to the EAS.
