Hi guys,
Does deicion pending mean PAO or does it mean post this it'll go to PAO?
Hi Katie
According to observations in other forums, DP will 99% become PAO, has yours changed to DP too? If so, that is great news!

Mine is still under review :/

When did you apply?
When did you apply?

If helpful - I checked the portal on the weekend and had also moved to DP. I applied a few days before the deadline

So must one assume that most offers are already under DP? Could anyone highlight the past trends, if any?

I think, based on my analysis of the threads in previous years, some people moved to PAO (or DP) around this time last year, and slowly more people started moving to PAO as the weeks passed. Then a surge of 'unsuccessful' updates. Good luck everyone! And congratulations to those who have moved to DP!

Hi guys, hope you're doing well.
I've made it to the 2nd stage of the Chevening scholarship. Pretty straightforward question: should I communicate this to Cambridge as a means to boost my application?
I do acknowledge that passing into the 2nd stage (interview) does not mean I'm gonna get the scholarship.
However, while I have a really strong profile for Cambridge's LLM (work experience + articles + speaking engagements + leadership + pro bono, etc.), neither my TOEFL score nor my GPA/rank are good enough. Therefore, I was wondering whether communicating this could leverage my application to Cambridge.
Tks!

Hi there, did somebody apply on 28th, November (or after) and their status changed to decision pending?
Posted Feb 14, 2024 20:57
Do you think they are updating in the reverse order of applications received? ie those who applied late get the first updates

No, actually I think the opposite and it seems to be like that based on the previous comments. Therefore, I would like to confirm what I think because I am very nervous. In my case I applied on 28th, November so I want to know if someone´s application from that date or later has moved to decision pending.

Someone above commented that they applied a few days before the deadline and are in DP.

I also applied on deadline and am also still under review. It seems to me if the 12 weeks is right they have until the 27th of February to move things from the review stage at the latest from that deadline. I'm not even sure I would take an offer anymore as was unsuccessful seeking funding but the wait is tenuous all the same. Hopefully things will move along further if the Law Department are meeting today. Best wishes to all waiting.

Hey everyone, I just thought I'd post this for anyone interested or curious regarding trends. I checked my status for the first time in a few weeks, and it has seemingly moved to decision pending ('decision pending - your application is currently under review'). I applied on the evening of the day of the deadline.

Mine is still under review, well hopefully there are still chances

Thanks for sharing! I guess this at least indicates that applications are not considered in a chronological order. At least if we assume that many other applicants will also move to DP during the next weeks) :)
