Guys, I know this process is extremely excruciating, however, apart from the fact that this year it started with one a week of delay, everything is pretty much going in the exact same way as last year.
Look, last year they also started notifying rejections on a Monday, which went on until Friday with a brief break on Thursday. Before Friday, there were only 2 persons who had reported being transferred to PAO, nonetheless, on Friday, despite a high number of rejections, many people reported being moved to PAO, a trend which continued beyond the weekend.
Currently, there have only been three people who have claimed being transferred to the PAO stage, and by now, no one has mentioned being rejected today. So, if everything goes like last year, there may still be some rejections tomorrow, but most probably, some people will also find out a positive change in their portals.

The mindset I want. Still no changes.
we live to fight another day

I just don't understand why they cannot update our portals all at once. The wait is meaningless and frustrating...

If your are still “under review” what are the chances of getting rejected now???
Posted Mar 03, 2022 18:51
I'd say indistinct from what they were before unfortunately. But I may be wrong ofc.

If your are still “under review” what are the chances of getting rejected now???
Well, based on previous years´ threads, it is still feasible to be rejected at this point.
1) Firstly, because Cambridge will most likely still release mass rejections tomorrow as the "rejections period" is not over yet.
2) Secondly, even by making it to the next week without being rejected, a rejection may still come in the following weeks, considering that some people are put into the waitlist and end up being rejected in late-March, if not until April. (Those whose statuses remain "UR" at that point).
3) Thirdly, even though it is very unlikely (I would say only 1% chance), there have been cases in the past of people who made it to PAO but ended up being rejected. However, as I mentioned, this is extremely rare and has nothing to do with the academic assessment of the application.
Nevertheless, the phrase "no news is good news" is pretty much true in Cambridge´s process, so as long as someone does not receive a rejection, the probability of being admitted increases day by day.

Essentially, anything can happen, rejection/ admission can happen on day 1 or day 15.
Best wishes to everyone still waiting!

What on earth is going on this year
Actually looking at previous years things seem to be going pretty much the same as the last 2 years, just on a 1-2 week delay

Any movement today???

Same. It is post-5pm in Australia and I was hoping to have an excuse to celebrate!

It’s ok to be sad
It’s ok to be happy
but it’s not ok to wait for an expected result indefinitely…

Still under review here too.
If it is consistent with the previous two years, which except for the delay it seems to be, we can expect to see the largest numbers of PAO movement from Monday next week (March 7). However, it is still likely that a few will hear something today, so the urge to refresh remains...

Hello all,
"Under review" again.
Anyone else finding it shocking how there's been no email from Cambridge despite going over their 1st March deadline? It's like waiting in the terminal to catch a flight and the plane is obviously delayed but the flight attendants are laughing and giggling - like nothing has happened. It feels a bit disrespectful.
