Cambridge LL.M. 2014 - 2015 Applicants

LGE

This is a German forum where people like to have things in good order.

Angela, is that you?
In case someone wants to beat this person until he/she cries, you can find him here - Peterhouse, Cambridge, CB2 1RD, United Kingdom

Thanks for the information. Now we know the identity of the person. But that person has so much time on their hands!!!

Kind of makes me wonder, how so she/he has so much free time, when people at Cambridge is going crazy studying like hell for the coming May and June exams.....

We shall call agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully to solve this mystery!

@hal123

My status still says "awaiting consideration by department".

Can anyone provide some insight on what this could imply?

Conditional offer made this morning.

After all the advice, information ad support provided by this forum throughout the application process, it is regretful that things on the forum seem to have unravelled...

Thanks! No email, just a change from BoGS on Camsis to a conditional offer (usually conditions).

My status is also 'awaiting consideration...'. Maybe we can mail/call miss Wade or something?

Is the BoGS status just a formality for an offer or have there been rejections after getting BoGS-ed ?

Hello, everyone:

Now I am faced with a tough decision that I have to make. I have been admitted to Cambridge with conditions that I can meet. On the other hand, I have been admitted to Duke Law School with a half-tuition waiver.

My plan after graduation from LLM is that I will apply and join a JD Program in US and stay there for work. So which school do you think will help me more in my US JD application? In your opinions, Cambridge is the equivalence to which American Law school? Do you think Cambridge is among the Top 6 if it were an American law school?

By the way, another little question: what is the size of Cambridge 's typical LLM class?

In the most recent rankings, Cambridge was 3rd, so it's surely "good enough"...

... really? do you even need to ask that question?

My camsis status changed to BOGS today. I am an applicant from India as well.

This is my first post but I've been following this forum closely. Had given up all hopes post Saturday but guess they haven't made all the decisions yet.

Every American will claim that QS ranking is done by a British Institute and thus is favor of British schools. So it is not a good way to tell the exact position of Cambridge I think.

Could you suggest a way to make a fair comparison? And, who can answer my other questions? Thankssss.
