I checked my self-service this morning and it said 'unsuccessful for Trinity College (first choice), seeking college membership'. My second choice was King's - so I'm guessing (based on people that have written here) that the King's offers have already been sent out, and I won't get in? Or should I not yet give up hope?

Guys I have a question.. I received an email on 5 Feb. stating that I will receive an offer, but until now I have not received the official offer, and my status is still "awaiting approval by GAO".. is that normal or I should contact them?!!

For the LLM? I also received the initial email on 5 Feb, but only received my official offer last week Wednesday (7 March). Up until that point, my status was also "awaiting approval by GAO". Most unfortunate, as I hope the huge delay doesn't set us back college wise!

But don't stress about it - I reached out to Ms Wade and she confirmed that one shouldn't stress about the delay, it is just due to the huge volumes of applications before the GAO.

Does anyone know when the Gates results are out?

Apparently they have started inviting applicants for interviews. Word on street says we should know by end of this week.

Any offer holders heard from St John's yet?

Hey, I put Trinity as my first choice and my self-service says unsuccessful too, so you're not alone. It's a popular college and I don't think they take that many post-graduates, so I'm guessing they have no places left. My second choice is Downing, and I'm still waiting for a response from them..

Probably Wolfson, Hughes or St-Edmunds, as I hear they take in a lot of LLM students, both are fine options anyways.
