Apparently the admissions office has indicated that there is a slight backlog. I mean i applied in feb/mar. I suppose this is justifiable if they wish to assess candidates on a holistic basis instead of doing it through batches huh.
I suppose theres no harm waiting. But a late decision by them requires late decisionmaking on our part as well. Sigh I hate the volatility of things. I actually do like UCL.
Anyone still waiting on UCL?

I have just recently applied to UCL, QML and SOAS. Obviously haven't heard from them yet. UCL is great but really pricey. Therefore QML is my first choice.
If you got an offer from UCL, are you going this Sept? where are you from? are you eyeing London's legal firms or banks after your completion?

well i have an offer from cantab (conditional), kings and lse
my motivations for an llm are purely academic. if ure asking me about what im going to do after, I am pretty much in limbo. i honestly refuse to be embroiled in all this fuss about magic circles or bermuda triangles, whatever. I might apply, I might not, it will depend on how much i get "sucked" into the culture.
I think UCL's great and between UCL / LSE / KCL its gonna be a tough choice to make. But i am keen on rejecting LSE simply because i find their system substandard. (no offence but this is my honest opinion)
im currently doing my llb, 3 hrs of exams left! and s'pore's my "fatherland".
I didnt apply to Queen Mary but i do have a friend who studied there for her llb.

personally I would suggest you try to make it to UCL! =)
it probably costs a lot more, but if you can obtain the funding, it is definitely worth it.
You see , the quality of teaching there is really exceptional. Inspiring even.

Dear rendition,
I have exactly the same situation as yours. In fact, Kings has already send me a conditional offer, althought I send my docs to them even later than to UCL.
Best of luck with UCL, perhaps we'll met ther this fall (inshallah)

Yes I gave UCL a call as they promised a reply by the 17th of May but there is an apparent delay. Kcl's pretty much good enough if you're asking me. But I'm sure an offer would mess things up in a positive way.
I would be inclined to opt for UCL though, even though I wish to specialise in Corporate Finance.

I submitted my application on January 30, 2007 and have yet to hear a word from them. As it is I think I already missed the scholarship deadline. Anyine heard from them who applied early Feb?

i suppose they do take a while
wait for one more week and then give them a call.
