am now refreshing my inbox every couple of minutes, willing it to receive an email from cambridge. this is crazy, irrational behavior but i feel like i need to do something to keep the anxiety at bay. thank god it's friday! i'm in dire need of a drink or two.

He probably was part of the outstanding applications! Maybe that explains why he received an early offer!  The rest of us must wait until late February or March! 

Does anyone applied to another llm program? I have applied to Oxford and LSE  

I do hope, that offers would be emailed to us beginning from 6 Feb. I applied to LSE also and UCL.

Got an offer for the MCL!! Conditional - I'm South African - so assume its a language condition, but still an offer nonetheless!! Happy days!!!!

Congratualtions! I also applied but submitted all the documents less than 2 weeks ago, so I would be grateful for any feedback in terms of when you applied and when and how you received the response. My account still says awaiting consideration by the department...

Thanks man. I submitted my application the day after they opened just about, with referees soon thereafter. Also, my camsis status hasn't changed (I just have a mail from Suzanne Wade).

yeah, me either. i wonder when us applying closer to the deadline can expect any answer. i would say closer to the end of feb but that`s just my guess.

I've also received a conditional offer for the MCL last Thursday, in the form of an informal e-mail and was told I'd be getting further details this week. Applied for the LL.M. as well but haven't heard back so far.

Since the MCL programme is relatively brand new, I was wondering if there are any students on the current course who can provide some insight? It'll be greatly appreciated!

Applying sooner or later doesn't really make a difference as long as you have applied before the deadline. Cambridge doesn't consider applicants who have applied early first and the rest later. They send out offers only after they have reviewed all the applications. So if you are on the first list, you'll get your e-mail no matter when you've applied!
